If you having a spray tan, please have a trial
If you are wearing a veil/headpiece please bring it along to your trial
Pictures/pintrest/moodbards are a great consultation tool for your trial
Trials will be conducted in the salon and is not recommended on the day you have a function as it can rush the process
Do you just do hair or makeup??
I am a hairstylist, but I love to collaborate with locally sourced make-up artists, and can highly recommend a few incredible talents who I would happily work alongside.
How far out should I have my trial?? And how long should I allow??
I usually recommend a few months out, but if you are wanting to book very far in advance and you wish to have a trial first, that’s completely fine too. I usually allow about an hour for a hair trial, but if you need a longer time, feel free to ask for more time when you make your booking. I will charge you accordingly.
How should I/we prep our hair before the wedding day??
Unless otherwise asked, the best prep is as follows:
The night before, please shampoo your hair twice and lightly condition the ends.
It is best not to add any other products, and then fluff dry before bed.
I know you will be thinking, gosh I will look like a fluffball, but that fine because I will be there the next day to get you sorted.
Do you come to us??
I invite all bridal parties into our beautiful studio and create all hair for you on site. I also prepare an amazing space for you within the salon including light refreshments.
On occasions, and subject to current restrictions I will travel to you, however travel fees do apply out of the geelong cbd area. Please enquire for more information on this.
When should I colour my hair??
I usually recommend either at the start of the week or the week before as you need a couple of washes for the colour and hair to settle.
What about Hair extensions?
I have a variety of colours and styles that I can order in for you - all real hair and beautiful. These are an additional cost, and can be coloured to suit your hair colour too - good thing about that is you get to keep them afterwards! Bonus! I’m happy to sit down and chat about this at our initial consultation and fill you in on any information you require.
Please pre-order these at least 5 weeks before the wedding, to allow enough time for them to be coloured and arrive safely.
Can I book you for hair if I have an event to go to??
Of course you can! I can happily fit you in at the salon. Please book in advance if you have a function and I will try my best to fit you in!
Can I hire you for photoshoots??
Absolutely! I love doing all sorts of photo shoots from Bridal to editorial and have many years of experience. Ask me about my session pricing.
How far in advance should I book my trial ??
Please be aware that I do book up very quickly, so to avoid disappointment, please try to book in as early as possible. As soon as you know your date, pay a deposit to secure your place, and book in a consultation and a trial. Your best bet is through winter as it is the wedding off season, but from September-May I am usually heavily booked.
How much time should I allow on the day? How long does it take for hair ??
I like to allow 1 hour per service per person with a little extra time at the end just incase and for touch ups. Of course every bridal party is different and I will cater time allowances for each individual party. As a bride you won’t have to even think about any of the timing on the day, leave it to me to sort it all out so you don’t have to worry about a thing!
Do you travel for bridal parties? Coastal/Country Victoria? Interstate? International?
Yes! Absolutely! If I am available, and subject to restrictions, I will come to you. Travel and accommodation fees may apply, depending on your location, but I’m happy to come to you!
I strongly advise booking at least 3 months in advance to avoid disappointment, but cancellations do happen, so don’t be scared to ask - I might just be available.
